Thomas Pestell

a 17th-century Vicar of Packington

Thomas Pestell became Vicar of Packington during the early years of the English Civil Wars. He was a prominent Royalist and, in about 1646, he was ejected from his church and all his property sequestered by Parliamentarians. This drama tells the story of what happened to him before, during and after this momentous event.
