Murder on the Maplewell Express

This was a joint project with Century of Stories and Maplewell Hall School. The students did the research, devised the characters, the story, sourced their own costumes and played all the parts. If you view this film, do also view the one below which shows how much the students got out of this project

Behind the Scenes at Maplewell Express

This film was made not by us but by professional film-maker Bill Newsinger. It really shows how much the students enjoyed the project and how much they got out of it.

Rosie's Choice

A drama by Wendy Freer about life on the canals for women and children in the 1930s and 1940s. Foxton Boilerhouse Museum asked for this film to be made to accompany their temporary exhibition about women on the inland waterways.

One further film was shown at Quick Flicks 2017 - Leave! a comedy by Mark Taylor. A married couple fall out over the EU referendum. This film is not available on the internet for copyright reasons.

Quick Flicks 2016 was part of the Ashby Arts Festival and will took place at The Venture Theatre, North Street, Ashby de la Zouch.
